Reece Lynch is a brave filmmaker from the UK who drove his grandma’s Ford Fiesta right across Europe to the Ukrainian Donbas (2,200 miles) to film the ongoing war and tell many stories from the region in his project First Focus. Reece Lynch has spent more than £6,000 of his own money to conduct this project during the last nine months and is continuing to film via crowdfunding support. He supplies weekly updates on the situation at the front and films short stories from locals and servicemen. He also filmed two documentaries about ecology in the industrial city of Mariupol and internally displaced people from Shyrokyne village which was destroyed in the war.
