A senior Ukrainian official told UK security minister Ben Wallace during talks in Kyiv that one of the Salisbury poisoning suspects had been identified as a participant in a Russian special operation to help Viktor Yanukovych, the country’s former Moscow-friendly president, flee to Russia in the aftermath of the 2014 pro-democracy EuroMaidan Revolution.
