Germany’s FlixBus bus operator plans to develop trips inside Ukraine in 2020, the press service of the operator has reported.
“Success in the Ukrainian market prompted the company to further develop in the region,” the operator said in the report.
FlixBus plans to increase the number of international lines from Ukraine in 2020, as well as launch domestic transportation.
“We see great interest in trips inside Ukraine. Only according to official data, 148 million passengers a year use intercity bus services in Ukraine. At the same time, there are not enough offers for comfortable, safe and affordable bus trips today. The domestic network in the country is our plans for 2020. We are also working on opening domestic sales at our international lines,” Senior PR Manager Poland & Ukraine at FlixBus Michal Leman said.
At the same time, the company did not disclose the estimated number of routes, their directions, as well as the launch date for domestic transportation in Ukraine.
