German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas has said progress needs to be reached in the Minsk talks meant for settling the situation in the east of Ukraine.

“We urgently need some progress in the Minsk process… I also spoke about this in Moscow… So that the Minsk process would have some dynamics, – it is extremely necessary,” Maas said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin in Kyiv in the evening of Jan. 18.
