The Cabinet of Ministers has submitted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on countering pressure from law enforcement and controlling bodies on entrepreneurs and prohibiting excessive and uncontrolled use of force during investigative actions, the government’s press service reported on Nov.10.

According to the report, the document has already been registered in parliament.

At the same time, the bill has not yet been posted on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, while commenting on the need to adopt this document, said that attacks on enterprises had become a major problem that and that business circles had repeatedly complained about it.

“This document will not allow anyone to take unlawful action with respect to entrepreneurs,” he said.
