You're reading: Group of Italian lawmakers, businessmen to visit Crimea

A delegation of Italian parliamentarians is going to visit Crimea and Sevastopol on October 13-15, a spokesperson for the de-facto Sevastopol authorities said on Thursday.

“A delegation of members of Italian regional councils (Veneto, Lombardy, Liguria, Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna), national parliament and representatives from the Italian business community are planning to visit,” the spokesperson said.

The visit program has yet to be clarified, local authorities will give more information on this later.

The delegation is expected to consist of 18 members.

Earlier, in July, Crimea was visited by a delegation of eleven French parliamentarians.
