Industrial production in Ukraine in June increased by 3.8 percent compared to the same month in 2016, while in May its growth was 1.2 percent, in April the fall was 6.1 percent, the State Statistics Service has said.
The agency said that the industrial production grew by 0.1 percent from May to June, or by 0.5 percent when taking into account the seasonal factor.
According to the report, in the first six months of 2017 industrial production in Ukraine fell by 0.4 percent comparing to the same period in 2016. In mining and quarrying the decrease was 6 percent, in the supply of electricity, gas, steam and conditioned air some 5.6 percent, while growth in processing industry stood at 3.6 percent.
