Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has criticized work of the supervisory board of national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy, pointing out the absence of consistency.

During the discussion at the government meeting on Wednesday, the work of Kyiv-based Ukrzaliznytsia’s supervisory board, he cited it as an example for the supervisory boards of other state-owned companies, which work, according to the prime minister, differs a lot.

“We here [in Ukrzaliznytsia] see an absolutely professional approach, non-politicized, pragmatic. You cannot say this about the supervisory board of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy. It has been working for a year and a half, but there is no consistency that should be,” Groysman said.

As reported, Clare Spottiswoode (the UK) heads Naftogaz’s supervisory board. Bruno Lescoeur (France), Amos Hochstein (the United States), Ludo Van der Heyden (France), Volodymyr Demchyshyn, Serhiy Popyk and Kostiantyn Maryevych are members of the supervisory board.
