Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has backed Ukrzaliznytsia Board Chairman Wojciech Balczun in a conflict with Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan.

“Leave the conflict at home,” he said at a government meeting on Jan. 25, urging the officials to work constructively in the infrastructure and transport area.

Omelyan and Balczun exchanged critics of their actions at the posts at the government meeting.

“The increase of profit of Ukrzaliznytsia in 2016 is not a reform achievement. This is simply the increase of the tariff by 15 percent in 2016 that generated Hr 3.8 billion. Unfortunately, nothing happened with corporatization in 2016, there were no moves,” Omelyan said.
