MINSK – The parties to the Minsk-based Contact Group on Ukraine are now seeing prospects for a political settlement in Donbas.
“Today the Contact Group held its first meeting after the new Verkhovna Rada started its work and a new Ukrainian government was approved. Meeting participants believe that there are all necessary conditions in place now for a coherent political settlement of the intra-Ukrainian crisis in Donbas on the basis of the Minsk Agreements,” Russian presidential special representative at the talks Boris Gryzlov said.
