MP from Samopomich faction and head of the parliamentary committee for preventing and fighting corruption Yehor Sobolev has asked the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) to check the correspondence of way of living of Batkivschyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko and her income mentioned in her e-declaration.

“Today I wrote an address to NACP asking to monitor the way of living of Batkivschyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko. I have questions about her declaration. I asked Yulia Volodymyrivna to initiate the monitoring herself. I decided to help her, as she has not done it,” he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.

Sobolev said that he appealed to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) asking to check five more lawmakers.

“As for leaders of the two other parliamentary factions – Oleh Liashko from Radical Party and Ihor Hryniv from Petro Poroshenko Bloc – I see signs of unlawful enrichment or untrue information in declarations. I ask that NABU jointly with the anti-corruption prosecutor checked this information,” he said.
