You're reading: Health ministry distributes some medicines procured using 2016 budget funds

Ukraine’s Health Ministry has distributed some medicines procured using the 2016 national budget funds, the ministry’s press service has reported.

According to orders posted on the ministry’s website, the ministry approved the distribution of Aminosalicylate Sodium to treat tuberculosis for Hr 2.724 million, Cerezyme to treat Gaucher disease for Hr 12.608 million and Myozyme to treat orphan metabolic diseases for Hr 6.037 million.

Some medicines to treat HIV/AIDS were also distributed, in particular, Zidovudinum for Hr 293,059, Abacavir Sulfate and Lamivudinum for Hr 2.11 million.

The ministry also distributed Humira medicine to treat children with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis for Hr 13.186 million.
