Deputy of the European Solidarity faction Oleksiy Honcharenko asks the Office of the President of to inform which flight Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky flew to Oman and whether he really lived in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel while in this country.

“I’ve made a request to the President’s Office about Zelensky’s trip to Oman. I want to know who exactly arranged Zelensky’s visit to Oman? At whose invitation did he fly there? Was Zelensky’s flight a charter flight? Who paid for the flight? Why did the President of Ukraine stay at the Ritz Hotel Carlton? Who paid for the accommodation? We are waiting for an official reply,” Honcharenko wrote on his Facebook page.

Earlier Strana.ua reported that on January 2, after a New Year’s holiday at the Sinegora presidential residence in the Carpathians, he returned to Kyiv, after which he went without publicity to Oman, where he settled in a five-star hotel on the shore of the Gulf of Oman near the capital of Muscat. The publication also published photographs of Zelensky on vacation and reported that the head of the President’s guard, Maxim Donets, had gone to Oman in advance to prepare the trip.

As earlier reported, on January 2, following his New Year vacation at the presidential residence Synyohora in the Carpathian Mountains the head of state returned to Kyiv, and later he confidentially traveled with his family to Oman, online publication Strana.ua reported. He was accommodated at a five-star hotel on the coast of the Gulf of Oman not far from the Omani capital of Muscat. The publication also posted photos featuring Zelensky on vacation and reported that presidential security chief Maksym Donets traveled to Oman in advance to make arrangements for the president’s trip.

Later, the Office of the President of Ukraine said that Zelensky was in Oman, where he left with his family on a scheduled flight at his own expense.

Zelensky in Oman met with Executive President of the State General Reserve Fund of the Sultanate of Oman Abdulsalam Al-Murshidi and discussed with him the intensification of investment cooperation.

On January 8, in connection with the crash of the Ukrainian plane in Iran, Zelensky interrupted his visit to Oman.
