Oleksandr Lytvynenko is the new director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies. Previously, from 2014, he was the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC). He also took a major part in writing the previous National Security Strategy for Ukraine. Hromadske asked about how decisions are made at the NSDC, in particular, the implementation of martial law following Russian aggression in the Kerch Strait, as well as sanctions against Russia and the ban on Russian social networks.
