You're reading: Hrytsak says Russian special services continue attempts to destabilize Ukraine

The special services of the Russian Federation continue trying to destabilize the situation in Ukraine. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is making everything possible to prevent it, SBU Head Vasyl Hrytsak said.

“People have the right to protest activities and statement of dissatisfaction in various ways, but we must not allow destabilization, movement of people with weapons in the cities and villages of our country. We will do everything to prevent this from happening,” he said during a joint briefing with the prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko in Kyiv on Feb. 21.

Hrytsak noted that attempts to destabilize the situation in Ukraine are ongoing. He said Russian special services are involved.
