Presidential candidate of Ukraine, leader of the Civil Position Party Anatoliy Hrytsenko has met with Special Representative of the U.S. Department of State for Ukraine Negotiation Kurt Volker at the Munich Security Conference.

“We spoke with Kurt Volker about practical steps for de-occupation of Donbas and technical re-equipping of the Ukrainian army,” Hrytsenko wrote on his Facebook page after the meeting.

In addition, at a meeting with commander of the U.S. Ground Forces in Europe (2014-2017) Ben Hodges, the politician raised the issue of strategic partnership between the U.S., NATO and Ukraine regarding the tense situation in the Black and Azov Seas and the release of Ukrainian sailors in Russian captivity.

“With a member of the European Parliament Anna Maria Corazza Bildt we spoke about the risks for fair elections in Ukraine and a clear documenting of offenses,” Hrytsenko also said.
