Kyiv-based PrJSC Imperial Tobacco Production Ukraine’s net profit fell by 77.3 percent in 2017 from 2016, to UAH 99.42 million.

The company’s net revenue from sales rose by 31.7 percent, to UAH 2.7 billion, it said in an annual report posted in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.

In 2017, the company posted UAH 123.7 million in operating profit against UAH 16.8 million in operating losses in 2016. Its gross profit almost doubled to UAH 563.5 million.

Imperial Tobacco Production Ukraine sold 14.431 billion cigarettes, which was not a significant change from 2016.

Imperial Tobacco in Ukraine is represented by the company with foreign investments Imperial Tobacco Ukraine and joint-stock company Imperial Tobacco Production Ukraine, part of Imperial Brands PLC. The company’s brands include Davidoff, Parker & Simpson, West, Style, R1, and Prima. The tobacco factory is located in Kyiv and manufactures products for the domestic market and for export, namely Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, the United Arab Emirates, Mongolia, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, and the United States.
