Two cases of the British strain of coronavirus have been officially confirmed in Ukraine, Sehodnia (Today) newspaper reports, citing the Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases.
The strain was detected in two patients from Ivano-Frankivsk.
Patients are under medical supervision.
As epidemiologists report, the COVID-19 vaccine can protect from this strain.
