The Kyiv police has opened an inquiry into the murder of former State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov on the assassination counts, Artem Shevchenko, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry’s communications department director, said.
“The Kyiv police have started [a criminal proceeding] on the assassination counts, Part 2, Article 115 of the Penal Code. Other decisions may be made in a latter period, and other agencies may be investigating this crime,” Shevchenko told reporters in Kyiv on March 23.
