One Ukrainian serviceman has been wounded as a result of shelling by illegal armed formations in the east of Ukraine on Monday, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported on Facebook.

“Over the past day, from 07:00 to 18: 00, the Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire regime seven times, two times with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of the shelling,” the report says.

The militants opened fire from mortars of 120 and 82 mm caliber, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms on the defenders of Krymske, Luhanske, Pivdenne, Hnutove and Vodiane. Militants used 120- and 82-mm mortars against JFO troops in Luhanske area, while 82-mm mortars were also used near Krymske.
