Passenger traffic at Kharkiv International Airport in January-August amounted to 823,700 people, which is 29 percent more than for the same period in 2018, the airport’s press service reports on Facebook.

In August 2019, the airport served some 140,400 passengers, which is 48 percent more compared to August 2018.

The most popular destinations were Antalya (Turkey), Kyiv (Boryspil Airport), Istanbul (Turkey), Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt), Krakow, Warsaw (both Poland), Vienna (Austria), Tel Aviv (Israel), Kutaisi (Georgia), and Barcelona (Spain).

As reported, passenger traffic at Kharkiv airport in 2018 amounted to 962,500 people, which is 19 percent more than in 2017.

Kharkiv airport has a runway 2,500 meters long and 50 meters wide. Two passenger terminals with a capacity of 100 and 650 people per hour are located in its territory.
