The Russian Kremlin has got no mercy on Ukrainian political prisoners that are held in Russia unlawfully, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said.

“The deterioration of Pavlo Hryb’s health, significant recurrence of Stanislav Klykh’s disease, and no medical assistance to Edem Bekirov who suffers from diabetes. And on top of all that—Moscow’s complete unwillingness to go for an exchange,” Klimkin wrote in a tweet on Twitter on December 20.

As earlier reported, Ukrainian national Pavlo Hryb who is charged in Russia with terrorism facilitation has had his health deteriorating recently.

Ukrainian human rights commissioner Liudmyla Denysova earlier said Klykh reported a significant deterioration in his health, in particular, gangrene and suspected cancer.

Also, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has recently demanded that Russia provide medical assistance to Crimean Tatar civil activist Bekirov who was arrested on December 13 because he has diabetes and lack of proper medical assistance can pose a threat to his life.
