Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Austria, Pavlo Klimkin and Sebastian Kurz, have discussed the humanitarian and security situation in the east of Ukraine during a meeting at the 24th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna on December 7.

“Good to see Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin at the OSCE Ministerial Council today. It is important to improve protection of civilians and humanitarian situation in the region,” Kurz wrote on Twitter on December 7.

“Further strengthening of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission has been another important priority of the Austrian OSCE chairmanship in 2017. Ceasefire violations on both sides must stop,” the Austrian foreign minister said.
