The foreign ministers of Ukraine and Germany, Pavlo Klimkin and Heiko Maas, have arrived in Mariupol in Donetsk region to meet with OSCE monitors and visit the contact line in the Donbas conflict zone.

“German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and I have arrived in Mariupol. We will meet with OSCE monitors and local residents and visit the contact line,” Klimkin wrote on Twitter.

According to the head of the Donetsk regional military-civilian administration, Pavlo Zhebrivskyi, “the working trip of the foreign ministers to the frontline city will include meetings with representatives of international organizations, the local population, and journalists.”
