Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko says he expects that traffic along the Metro Bridge, which was blocked by a man who threatened to blow up the bridge, will resume within an hour and a half.
While commenting at journalists’ requests, Klitschko said that taking into account the work being done by bomb disposal specialists and other experts, traffic might resume in an hour and a half.
Earlier Klitschko told reporters that senior officials from Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police were not far from the scene.
As it was reported earlier, police detained a gunman, who threatened to blow up the Metro Bridge over the Dnipro River in Kyiv.
