Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze believes that the introduction of sanctions by Russia against Ukrainian companies and individuals is a signal that Moscow is not going to establish peace.

“This is a clear signal for us that the Russian Federation is not going to conduct real work on bringing peace closer. This means that the Kremlin is waging war, waging war in a hybrid way,” Klympush-Tsintsadze told journalists in Kyiv on Friday.

She noted that the new Russian sanctions list is not worth paying attention to.

“I work, I defend the state interests of Ukraine, so this will in no way affect my work … I have neither interests in the Russian Federation nor accounts,” she noted.

According to Klympush-Tsintsadze, she had previously been included in the list banning entry to the Russian Federation.
