Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze has said that the next goal of Kyiv is the launch of negotiations on Ukraine’s joining the Schengen zone.

“One of the tasks we set is the start of a dialog on Ukraine’s joining the Schengen zone,” she said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

She also said that the negotiations on road maps to liberalize access of Ukrainian services to the EU market and their services to the Ukrainian market. Kyiv and Brussels should approve road maps for telecom, postal and financial services, transportation by sea and hold talks on the access to the digital market.

She said that there is no need to hold negotiations on liberalization of the conditions for labor movement and it is more important to focus on the creation of opportunities for getting jobs in Ukraine.
