BRUSSELS – No consensus was reached on concluding an additional agreement to a contract between Naftogaz of Ukraine and Gazprom at tripartite negotiations with the European Commission on Dec. 9, Naftogaz head Andriy Kobolev told journalists.
“Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach agreement today. We hope this can be done in the future, but we couldn’t sign an additional agreement today. Without it, no purchases of Russian gas are possible under the contract between Naftogaz and Gazprom,” he said.
