Head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) in Donbas Leonid Kravchuk, who underwent heart surgery, is now successfully undergoing rehabilitation in Germany, Oleksiy Arestovych, the spokesperson of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG, has said.
“An issue with Mr. Kravchuk is a little delicate. It lies in the fact that relatives and friends asked not to comment. But since there is the public interest, the information can be voiced. He is undergoing rehabilitation in Germany now. Relatives say that it is quite successful,” said Arestovych on the air of the Nash TV channel.
He also noted that it is not yet known whether Kravchuk will be able to appear in public before the end of the year.
As reported, at the end of June this year, the first president of Ukraine, head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Leonid Kravchuk underwent heart surgery.
At present, the head of the Ukrainian delegation is replaced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.
