The presidents of Russia and Ukraine have discussed the Donbas situation by telephone, the Kremlin’s press service said on Saturday.

“The sides discussed the situation in southeastern Ukraine and the course of the implementation of the Minsk Package of Measures, including in the context of the upcoming meeting of Normandy format countries’ foreign ministers, which will take place in Berlin on June 11,” the press service said.

The talk was held at the Ukrainian side’s initiative, the Kremlin said.
