The presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky, may discuss gas issues on the sidelines of the Normandy-format summit in Paris on December 9 if these issues have not been resolved at the working level before that, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the press on Nov. 29.

“There is an understanding that substantive talks will be held at the working level at first. If any outstanding problems remain, the presidents will use the occasion of the Paris meeting, where they will have a chance to speak to each other anyway, to touch upon gas issues,” Peskov said.
