Ukraine’s second president Leonid Kuchma discussed the situation in the east of Ukraine and the implementation of the Minsk agreements with Polish authorities during his visit to Warsaw.

The official website of Leonid Kuchma’s presidential fund Ukraine says that the visit took place at the invitation of Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski. Except for the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Leonid Kuchma held a series of meetings, in particular, with head of National Security Bureau Pawel Soloch, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Ryszard Terlecki and Polish President Alexander Kwasniewski, who was in office from 1995 until 2005.

“The sides discussed the entire range of bilateral Ukrainian-Polish relations. They separately talked about the situation in Donbas and the implementation of the Minsk agreements,” the information reads.
