The Ukrainian side points out at the need to observe the ceasefire regime in Donbas and initiates the investigation of recent cases of violation of the ceasefire, Darka Olifer, press secretary of Ukrainian representative to the Trilateral Contact Group and former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, said on Wednesday.

“As part of the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group and the meeting of the Security Subgroup, Ukraine has rigidly said: “It is impossible to conduct further work without a full-fledged cease regime. We suggest an investigation of violations of the cease-fire regime, in particular, yesterday’s shelling of Avdiyivka with the usage of Grads, which resulted in the wounding of one man and the destruction of 16 houses. The case of shelling houses in Avdiyivka on May 13, 2017, which resulted in two children becoming orphans, has not been investigated,” she wrote on her Facebook page following the results of the TCG meeting in Minsk on Wednesday.
