You're reading: Kyiv administration extends restriction on outdoor advertising in Kyiv

Kyiv City State Administration has extended until April 1, 2018 restrictions on accepting and considering applications for placement of outdoor advertising in the capital, introduced in October last year for the period until January 1, 2018.

The corresponding decree of First Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration Mykola Povoroznyk has been published in the Khreschatyk newspaper.

According to the document, temporary restrictions apply to outdoor advertising on billboards, supersites, video screens, light posters and pedestals that stand alone. Advertising on buildings and transport stops, as well as on projectors are not limited by this order.

The reason for the restrictions introduced is not specified in the document.
