You're reading: Kyiv Court announces break in consideration of SkyUp complaint until Sept. 18

The Kyiv Court of Appeals has again adjourned consideration of the complaint of the Ukrainian airline SkyUp Airlines (Kyiv) against the decision of Baryshivka District Court on the suspension of its business, the next hearing is scheduled for September 18.

According to the SkyUp press service, following the fourth court hearing on Wednesday, besides plaintiff Olena Pasenko, the second plaintiff appeared in the case – the public organization “Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Victims of Crimes.”

“The new plaintiff announced the recusal of the previous lawyer and one of the representatives of the judging trio. The new lawyer, Yekateryna Manshirina, did not attend the meeting,” the statement said.

At the same time, SkyUp told Interfax-Ukraine the indicated public organization was not connected in any way with the previous plaintiff, except that by September 11 they had one lawyer for two.

The airline added that the judicial board, according to a statement by SkyUp, established the fact that the case was delayed by the “Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Victims of Crimes” and issued a warning to them.
