The Ukrainian side does not intend to discus the Donbas reintegration bill at Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) negotiations in Minsk, Iryna Gerashchenko, Ukraine’s envoy to the humanitarian subgroup, said.
“Discussion of the bill is, certainly, not planned as part of working groups in Minsk and it won’t be, because improvement of its legislation to restore sovereignty and territorial integrity is Ukraine’s sovereign right,” Gerashchenko said on Facebook on Friday.
The bill was not presented during the Ukrainian president’s visits to Washington and Brussels, she said. “The Donbas reintegration bill was not discussed during the visit to the United States and Brussels, no documents and bills were presented and discussed at any meetings. However, the Ukrainian side’s stance on de-occupation, demilitarization, and reintegration of Donbas was comprehensively discussed at all meetings,” she said.
