You're reading: Kyiv police report 20 victims, including 7 police officers, amid crackdown on protesters’ tents outside parliament

Thirteen participants in a protest action outside the Ukrainian parliament’s building and seven police officers have requested medical assistance after a Saturday crackdown by law enforcement agencies on the tent camp set by the protesters in October 2017, Kyiv police chief Andriy Kryschenko said.

Some 111 people were taken to police stations on Saturday, March 3, the press service of Kyiv’s police said.

Administrative protocols have been drawn up for four of them, another eight detainees are now being interviewed by the police.
