The Russian-backed separatists opened fire 13 times on the positions of the governmental forces in Donbas on Sept. 26, Ukrainian military headquarters press center said.
“The enemy violated the calm regime using firearms and mortars near Starohnativka and Pavlopil in the Mariupol sector,” the press center said.
Moreover, an infantry combat vehicle was used to shell Starohnativka and “a sniper team operated” near Maryinka, the press center said on Facebook.
The militants used mortars, machine guns and small arms to shell the areas of Avdiyivka, Verkhniotoretske and Zaitseve in the Donetsk sector, and armed provocations occurred near Novozvanivka in the Luhansk sector.
The Ukrainian troops in Donbas observe the ceasefire regime, the press center said.
