The shelling of Ukrainian military positions in Donbas is showing signs of abating, with only seven instances of militant shelling recorded between midnight and 6 p.m. on Nov. 21, the Kyiv press center for the military operation in eastern Ukraine said on Nov. 21.
In the Mariupol area, tank shells were fired at Krasnohorivka; Shyrokyne and Hnutove were attacked by militants with mortars of varying caliber; Maryinka came under fire from armored personnel carriers and large-caliber machineguns, the press center said on Facebook.
In the Luhansk area, mortars and grenades were fired at Krymske.
In the Donetsk area, the enemy fired various grenade systems and small arms at Zaitseve and Avdiyivka, Kyiv said.
