Russian-led forces mounted seven attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported.

“On March 19, Russia-led forces violated the cease-fire regime seven times, six times he used weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements, and launched 51 mines of 120 and 82 mm calibers. There are no casualties among the JFO staff. Our defender was wounded as a result of the shelling,” the JFO staff said on Facebook on March 20 morning.

In the action zone of the operational-tactical grouping Vostok (East) and Sever (North), the Russian occupation forces opened fire from 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms, attacking the Ukrainian positions Maryinka, Novo-Oleksandrivka, Krymske, Novoluhanske, and Novotoshkivske.

“Since March 20 midnight, Russian-led forces have attacked a Ukrainian fortified position near the village of Lebedynske, using automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns,” the staff said.
