More than ten instances of ceasefire violation by enemy have been recorded in Donbas since midnight, the Ukrainian military said.
Of the 13 ceasefire breaches recorded between midnight and 6 p.m., 12 took place in the Mariupol area, the military operation’s press center said in a latest update published on Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s website.
The Ukrainian army strongholds not far from Shyrokyne and Vodiane came under 122-millimeter artillery fire, the press center said. The separatists fired 82-millimeter mortars at Ukrainian military positions near Lebedynske and 82- and 120-millimeter mortars in Talakivka.
“The militants also breached ceasefire in Maryinka where a number of grenade, machinegun and small-arms attacks took place,” the press center said.
Near Luhansk, only one small-arms provocation has been recorded, the press center said.
No ceasefire violation by militants has been recorded in the Donetsk area.
