The Russian-led forces mounted 26 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Joint Forces in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, including seven attacks with the use of heavy weapons; three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action, the Joint Forces Operation press center has said.
“The Russian-backed forces resorted to proscribed weapons – 120mm and 82mm mortars and 122mm artillery systems, which were used seven times in the past day. The total number of incidents when Russia-led forces violated the ceasefire was 26,” the press center said on Facebook in an update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on June 1.
