You're reading: Kyiv reports two soldiers wounded amid 21 attacks in Donbas in past 24 hours

Russia-led forces have mounted 21 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action (WIA), the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported.

“Separatists opened aimed fire at the position of our troops 21 times. At the same time, Kremlin-backed forces used weapons banned by the Minsk agreements six times. … Two soldiers of the JFO were injured in hostilities on October 30,” the JFO said on Facebook on October 31morning.

According to the staff, Ukrainian army positions were attacked near Luhanske, Verkhniotoretske, Avdiyivka, Pisky, Opytne, Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Lomakyne, Vodiane, and Lybidynske.

Three separatists were killed and another two were wounded, Ukrainian intelligence said.
