The liberalization of the visa regime between Ukraine and the European Union will not affect the functioning of the agreements on small border traffic between Ukraine and neighboring countries.

The introduction of a visa-free regime for short-term trips of Ukrainian citizens will have no impact on small border traffic under the relevant agreements, the Department of Consular Service of the Foreign Ministry said on its Facebook page on May 26.

The department also recalled that the agreements on small border traffic were signed with Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania and will be applied in the future.
