A total of 184 people continue to be unlawfully held in the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions outside Kyiv’s control, the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) said.

“As part of the work of the Trilateral Contact Group on the peaceful settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine, as at Jan. 20, a total of 184 people are being requested as those unlawfully deprived of liberty in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” the SBU said in reply to an inquiry from Radio Liberty.
