Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will discuss Syria, Ukraine and the expansion of U.S. sanctions against Russia at their bilateral meeting in Lima on Nov. 17, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

“The conversation will address every current item on the Russian-U.S. agenda. Of course, Syria will top the list, but there will be other issues, as well, such as Ukraine, bilateral affairs and, certainly, the fact that the Obama Administration has convinced us of its inclination to suffer from phantom pain over Crimea until the very last day by expanding the sanctions element of its policy on the sanctions track,” Ryabkov told the press on Wednesday.

“Indeed, we cannot overlook this at the meeting,” he said.
