KRASNODAR – A summit of the Normandy Four on the settlement in eastern Ukraine is not planned to be held in the near future, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

“As for the Normandy Four, at least I haven’t heard about such plans. There are statements [suggesting] that contact at least on the telephone should take place on the basis of the outcome of the presidential election in France, the election of a new president,” Lavrov said at a press conference with his German counterpart Sigmar Gabriel.

“I believe the relevant protocol services address organizational issues,” he said.

The Normandy Four comprises Russia, Ukraine, Germany, and France.
