A lengthy hunger strike has taken its toll on Ukrainian filmmaker Oleh Sentsov, who is serving his sentence in a Russian high-security penal colony, changes were detected in his kidneys, heart and liver, lawyer Dmitry Dinze said.
“Oleh is recovering, but his hunger strike has taken its toll. He was taken to a hospital; there are changes in his kidneys, heart and liver. Doctors cannot say whether it stays this way or not. They do not know how it will affect his health,” the lawyer said on his Facebook account on Nov. 26.
