The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office has closed the criminal proceedings against member of the Verkhovna Rada of the 7th convocation from the Party of Regions Volodymyr Medyanyk and he has been released, his defense lawyer Oleh Babych said.
“The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine has decided to close criminal proceedings against Medyanyk. He has been released from custody today, all charges against him have been dropped,” she told Interfax-Ukraine on October 24.
