The first Ukrainian-made coronavirus vaccine may appear in 2022, Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Liashko has said.

“This is one of the first. And at the stage of signing, the investment memorandum is much larger. By the end of this year, we will definitely know the exact deadlines for the production of vaccines, but next year the first Ukrainian vaccine will leave the line,” Liashko said during the offsite meeting of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction in Truskavets, the Dom TV channel reported.

According to Liashko, the installation of lines for the production of vaccines against influenza and coronavirus has now begun in Kharkiv.
